Sales of Morrells Handwriting workbooks are hot on the heels of the latest Harry Potter publication.

Simon Nettle, WHSmith Regional Manager of the Year and Deputy Manager Kevin Lee had to take a second look at their sales figures. Sales over the summer in the Isle of Man store: Harry Potter 260, Morrells Handwriting Books 109 and all other in-store handwriting publications 1.

Morrells Handwriting already has a huge online presence and is the fastest growing brand that helps primary and secondary schools to improve handwriting. They are the number one choice to follow the new school curriculum and are the only handwriting resources on the market to enable teenagers to improve their handwriting at GCSE level.

To celebrate, Sue Smits founder of Morrells Handwriting visited the Isle of Man WHSmith store for another Back 2 School handwriting workshop. Children, parents and teachers benefited from the expert handwriting advice and activities.

“The event was a huge success and always helps increase in-store footfall throughout the day. The handwriting books are great value and easily sell themselves, so we have already arranged to restock all of the books,” said Kevin. “This in-store success is a clear reflection on how relevant handwriting is today and we are delighted to stock these best-selling key products.”
